WHAT THEY SAY:
The Start of a Journey
Rounding out the Vega series is the Vega Arc, Kai Wa’a’s novice (intermediate) surfski. As the widest and most stable surfski in the series, the Arc is designed for those just getting into the sport. With signature Vega features at its core, several adjustments make it more enjoyable for novices without the weight and bulk traditionally expected of a beginner ski. The side-walls are lower to allow for easier remounting. The molded bucket seat is a bit wider for added comfort while maintaining hip control. And the sharp nose has been lowered slightly for less resistance in cross wind and chop. The Vega Arc brings the stability needed in a novice ski together with high-end construction methods and performance typical of an advanced ski. If you’ve been eyeing surfskis from the seat of your canoe, be sure to give the Vega Arc a try.
